its been awhile....

sorry about the impromptu hiatus, I've had a whole lot going on.
a baby was born, not mine but a close friend's
I've been in cisco's networking training
I've been trying to read
and there was a trip to Disneyland and the museum of death as well

i just wanted to say that tonight's episode of the vampire diaries was actually good, imagine that. while some major points still need to be addressed for what it was it was good.

p.s. the vampire's assistant was pretty good too...or maybe i've gone soft...

Martin

Everyone should see this movie, it was written and directed by George A. Romero that should be enough to convince you. Martin is a sad little vampire guy who moves in with his cousin to try to redeem himself, Martin's life as a vampire is almost a comedy of errors. This might be one of the first vampire movies made with the main vampire wanting to change who he is, it's the oldest I've seen anyway.

6. Cat
7. Devil
8. Scary Costume/Mask
9. Athlete
10. Police Officer

i really like "Wench/Tart/Vixen" and "Scary Costume/Mask" how exactly do you dress up as a scary costume? i don't know but I'm excited to see it. I'm torn on my Halloween plans, go to the symphony where they will be playing along with Nosferatu, or stay home and pass out candy, oh what to do.

if you have two and a half minutes to kill

Verizon and MTV have teamed up for a Mobile series called "Valemont". the seres has 34 two and a half minute clips, the first Twelve airing as long commercials on MTV and the rest available at MTV.com and Verizon's V-cast.
I can see getting into this if you commute on a bus or something, maybe you always arrive three minutes early, I don't know but I just don't see this taking off. Imdb has the plot listed as "An teen girl's brother is murdered at Valemont, an elite college on the east coast. Disguised as a student, the girl works undercover to unravel Valemont's dark secrets from within." Meh.

p.s. I'm wearing pink bunny pajamas, so bad ass right?
